Ballard- Week 4

I'm in the process of looking up exercises for my seminar. I need to make sure that the exercises completed will demonstrate that I accomplished my objectives. My objectives are as follows:

  1. 1. By the end of the seminar, attending PRSSA members will have correctly completed 3 provided exercises, each using varying InDesign skills, demonstrating that they know how to do basic InDesign functions.
  2. 2. By the end of the seminar, attending PRSSA members will be able to correctly open an InDesign document of different dimensions and apply different size margins in order to make different types of promotional documents.
  3. 3. By the end of the seminar, attending PRSSA members will be able to correctly save and export InDesign files to PDF format.
Th This means that I need that my exercises will teach them how to use the basics of InDesign, make different size documents with different margins, and save InDesign documents into different formats.

TO To find these exercises, I am using both the internet and a previous textbook from Computer Design 1. The book I am using is for CS4, which may be a problem because the lab has CS5 on the computers. There isn't much of a difference of between the two versions, but there are some nuances that I will have to find out while testing the exercises.
