Week 3 Adrienne Williams

My meeting with Dr. Sipes went well on Thursday. I talked with her about my surveys that I will be giving to the club members and the mini-quizzes I will be giving to the officers. The surveys that I give to the members are more for my benefit, to see what the club thinks of its PR efforts. The mini PR quizzes that I give to the officers will serve as a benchmark survey to see how much they know about PR. Then, after I make the manual and hold a session with them, I will give them the same exact quiz to see how much they learned.

One of the things I talked with Dr. Sipes about is how long to make my manual. I want to be as concise as possible and not overwhelm the officers with a huge manual, but I need to make sure it is long enough to give adequate information and examples. I'm going to shoot for 10-12 pages with an appendix. I don't want to overwhelm myself with making a huge document.

I already typed up my survey and quiz questions. This week will probably be really slow for my project because I cannot administer the surveys this week. The weekly meeting for the club was canceled on Tuesday due to fall break so I will have to wait until next week.
