Jensen week 4

After the setback, I feel a little less overwhelmed this week. I have proposed my new idea to the college of business, and I have started fixing my proposal.

After looking at my project and where it has already failed, I would like to do a different campaign with the same topic (professionally using social media). During the four weeks of November, I would like to present to the students of the college of business tips and tricks for using social media to land a job and to network professionally. Since the whole idea revolves around using media such as Facebook or Twitter; I will be hoping to use the Facebook page recently developed by the College of Business. However, I will also use print and e-mail to get the messages out. I would like to develop one of the cell phone scans for the Facebook page that I could put on all print to encourage students to follow the site and look at articles and tips posted.

I have e-mailed the Dean of the College of Business and plan to get things under way soon.
