The first half of my project is done. The feature story on Mike Frenette and Trevor Harman appeared in today's "Football This Week" tabloid issue of The Sentinel. The story and video are on the paper's website, cumberlink.com.
As for the story on head coach Mark Maciejewski, I've run into an issue. I was going to produce this story for The Slate's website. However, I found out this week that The Slate will not have the new website up and running at least until January. To counter this issue, I will contact the people in the sports department at The Punxsutawney Spirit, the newspaper in Maciejewski's hometown. I will pitch the story idea to them this weekend, tell them how I plan to approach this story, and I will let coach Mac know of the changes. I will update my proposal to reflect the changes once I hear from the people at The Spirit.
Due to this issue, I will likely have to push back my original deadline for my project. I will try to have the project done by Nov. 11.
