This week, I've been working on revising my project proposal so that Dr. Sipes and I can go over it together again. I've also been making plans and making contacts with other groups that I would like to spotlight for this special. So though it's a last minute change, I am excited about this new project! I think that it will reach a wider audience.

Barbara Schindo Update #2
So in a move that some might call completely insane, I changed my entire project idea moments before I turned in my project proposal. After speaking with Dr. Garris about it, I tweaked my idea from a special about therapy dogs/pet adoption to a special show about various people/groups on campus and in the community that do something great for the community. Think of it sort of as a way to raise awareness for local community outreach programs. I walked into Dr. Sipes's office for my meeting and said "I think I just changed my whole plan." Haha. She said that would be ok, though, because there is still enough time. It works out well though because I can use the things that I already had (from the Better Days Animal League and the 4-H Seeing Eye Puppy club) and just add more to them. This means my main client is going to be SUTV, since this is going to be produced as a Special Edition of SUTV News.
