I have gotten a major part of my project completed - my manual. It's about 11 pages long and includes appendixes of examples of flyers, handouts and press releases.
I analyzed the surveys that the members of the club filled out and based some parts of my manual on what the were currently doing that worked and also on things they were not doing, but should work for recruitment. I also made sure to go in depth about the aspects of PR that the officers did not know on their quiz.
The next step in my project will be going to the next club meeting to go over the manual with the officers and then give them the same quiz again to see what improvement will be made on their scores.
So far, I think I am going to reach my objectives. I have printed the manuals out for the executive board members so they will each have their own copy, which was an objective. Another was to have 3/4 of the e-board attend the session. Only three of the four took the quiz to begin with, so I really hope I can have the same three members there to take the quiz again. If they are not there, I will try to set up a time where the same three can take the quiz over so i can have accurate results.
